Chuck Prophet, will return to the UK with his new band The Spanish Bombs this July performing the entire Clash ‘London Calling’ double album from front to back in all its glory. Chuck put together The Spanish Bombs after the offer from a Spanish promoter this past January where all but two of the twelve dates sold out.  After a big demand from his UK fans Chuck decided to bring the special show to the UK this July. 

Chuck Prophet will be joined by singer/songwriter Chris Von Sneidern who plays the parts of Mick Jones to Chuck’s Joe Strummer in the five piece band. This band is not a covers act and put their own slant on the album adapting many to Chuck’s own style his fans know and love.  Chuck says of 'London Calling'  “That record is the Rosetta stone of the punk apocalypse. Figure out the language it's written in and you've got the keys to the highway. It's all in there, rockabilly, rock, soul, punk and ska. I was young when I bought it, listened to it repeatedly. My brain was soft. I soaked it up”

Chuck Prophet will be joined by Johnny Green, Clash tour manager and confidant and will be reading from his book A Riot of Our Own about his time with The Clash.

Age restrictions - Strictly over 14s.  Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult 18+ (photographic ID required to gain entry)
