The Mars Volta are an American Grammy Award-winning band who formed out of the ashes of cult post-hardcore act At The Drive In. 

The El Paso-based band have crafted a very unique style of avant-prog and they released their fifth concept album ‘Octahedron’, in June. 

The Texan psych-rockers are known for their energetic and improvised live performances and arrive at the HMV Forum on 14th December.
