HMV Live & MAMA Festivals present NEXT BIG THING featuring Slow Club, First Aid Kit and Slow Moving Millie.

Slow Club have already been creating ripples in 2009 with their take on alt-folk and use of unusual percussion instruments.

First Aid Kit are prodigious Swedish teenagers Klara (16) and Johanna Söderberg (19).  They've been gathering fans apace throughout 2009 since the release of their ‘Drunken Trees’ EP in February. Originally released on The Knife’s Rabid label, the duo was swiftly picked up for the UK by Wichita Recordings, who are proud to now unveil the glorious debut full length, 'The Big Black and The Blue'.

Slow Moving Millie lives grew up in Ladbroke Grove, London, via Liverpool. She’s been playing music and penning songs ever since she can remember. Her influences range from the absurd, to the macabre, to her Nana. Her music can be funny, cinematic, moving and often surprising. With luck this can be the start of a wonderful adventure.
