Juan Zelada came to the UK with little more than the guitar on his back, plying his trade playing restaurants and bars, but a talent like this can’t go far without being recognised. His debut single ‘Breakfast In Spitalfields’ scored Radio 2’s record of the week, going on to be the second most played track on the station in July 2011. Expect his long-awaited debut album later this year.
Support comes from actor and singer Julian Ovenden and Laura Wright, whose new album ‘The Last Rose’ explores the rich heritage of English folk music.
