Load In
Due to the compact and historic nature of the centre of Edinburgh, this venue is strictly tip-and-go, and use of in-house production is required to minimise loading.

Access
1. From Cambridge St (off Castle Terrace) via large single door, long push to rear door to venue, 3 flights (32) steps to auditorium floor by front of house position.
2. From Lothian Rd via 3 flights (28) steps to fire door at down stage edge.
3. From Lothian Rd, via front door, 4 steps to foyer, small passenger lift to all floors.

Removable stepped mojo-type barrier.

Flying Points
4 x 500kg points over stage on two x 32' truss - this must remain in place at all times.
2 x 500kg points - advanced front truss, this also must remain in place at all times.
2 x 500kg points - flying either house PA.

3 phase 125amp - lighting.
Single phase 63amp - sound.

Backline Power
6 x 16amp circuits on back wall of stage.

Shore Power
32amp single phase ceeform at rear of venue on Cambridge Street.

Mixer position
At rear of dance floor in centre, 12m from downstage edge.

Dressing rooms
2 with direct access to stage, backstage toilet and shower facilities.
1 via the auditorium.

Production offices
2 offices available, (1 backstage).

Phones & wi-fi
All phones, adsl, broadband and wi-fi included for flat rate £25 per day. Wireless access available in offices, dressing rooms, auditorium and catering.

Towels
Towels can be supplied at £2 per towel. Any lost or unreturned towels will be charged at a rate of £4 per towel.

Special Effects
All pyro and laser effects must have approval of local authorities e.g. environmental health and fire officers. All information regarding this must be sent to the HMV Picture House at least 2 weeks in advance of the show.

Catering
Full working kitchen with dining area. Ice also available.

Parking
Due to the compact and historic nature of the centre of Edinburgh, this venue has no venue parking. Nearest available parking is adjacent at Castle Terrace NCP - (height restriction applies). For trucks please call to arrange. There are also limited pay and display on-street spaces by the venue.
