Crooked Still are a hot young alternative bluegrass group on a mission to bend the boundaries of traditional music.  “Warmed by a robust cello, the inventive arrangements on Still Crooked forgo high and lonesome in favor of deep, dusky yearning, as do the vocals... Recent changes in the band's lineup have been smooth, widening the quintet's path of low-key innovation.”   – Time Out New York

Boston Globe: “[Crooked Still] may be the most important folk group to emerge from Boston... state-of-the-art musical chops with a deep understanding of American traditional music's raw melodic grace."

Bluegrass Unlimited:
"Go ahead. Feel free to oooh and aaah at what’s coming out of your speakers… [Crooked Still] brings to traditional bluegrass a diversity of talent that is simply spectacular… Familiar tunes are suddenly brand-new, engaging, infused with intensity…"

Crooked Still is a self-styled alternative bluegrass band consisting of vocalist Aoife O'Donovan, banjo player Dr. Gregory Liszt, bassist Corey DiMario, cellist Tristan Clarridge and fiddler Brittany Haas. They are known for their high energy, technical skill, unusual instrumentation and innovative acoustic style.

Vandeville Falls is made up of musicians who came together through friendship and happy accident, bringing with them a mix of styles to form the Vandeville sound. They play and write music they love and if others do too then that’s a bonus. Vandeville Falls are now firmly based in London after realising that it was deeply impractical (not to mention painfully expensive!) to be traveling from Jenny’s Yorkshire home town of Mexborough to the capital to rehearse and perform.

Vandeville Falls are now regulars on the London gigging circuit, playing both full band line-ups and special acoustic shows as a slimmed down 3 piece, to ever growing audiences. The band’s debut album, ‘Ten Years Of Talk In Mexico City’, was released last year and it was produced by Ian Grimble (The Cranberries,Texas and Manic Street Preachers).
