The Stranglers are pleased to announce a full UK tour in February/March 2010. The band will also be releasing a brand newHits package featuring material spanning 5 individual decades.

It has often been said that The Stranglers are probably the most enduring band of the UK punk/new wave era. A number of present day bands citeThe Stranglers as an influence; their concerts are always packed; and the loyalty of their fans is legendary, regularly following the band from gig to gig (both domestically and internationally).

Formed in 1974 the band's notoriety was later embraced by the punk movement of '77. This led to their debut single 'Grip' and their legendary first album 'Rattus Norvegicus'.  This was followed by such hits as ‘Peaches’, ‘No More Heroes’, ‘5 Minutes’, ‘Duchess’, ‘Something Better Change’, ‘Always the Sun’ and their ultimate classic ‘Golden Brown’. Since then the band have gone on to become one of the UK’s best loved and most enduring bands – racking up over 24 top 40 singles and 18 top 40 albums.
